Compare the Product FamilyMultipath integration helps recover usable energy from indirect signal paths.
Adaptive processing suppresses unwanted radio energy in a changing environment.
G2 gives operators a higher-capacity access option across multiple spectrum bands.
The sector radio connects the access network to available backhaul.
The subscriber radio closes the wireless link to each home or business.
Configuration, visibility, and troubleshooting help teams operate the network.
The real world gets in the way. Tarana engineers for it. Multipath integration brings reflected signal paths together. Real-time interference cancellation helps the desired signal come through. With G2, four carriers combine capacity across licensed and unlicensed spectrum. So operators can plan for more customers. And communities can plan for more.
Keep the forwarding path and the management relationship distinct when reviewing the architecture.
Conceptual architecture. TCS manages the network; subscriber payload does not transit TCS.
6.4 Gbps
Sector capacity, with up to 512 Remote Nodes supported per sector.
20M+
Homes and businesses covered by G1, as reported by Tarana.

A family of subscriber radios, including the multiband RNm.

| Spectrum approach | Model-specific 3, 5, or 6 GHz options | Four separable carriers; 160 MHz aggregate bandwidth | RNm supports multiband operation; legacy RNs have model-specific capabilities |
| Headline capacity | 6 GHz four-carrier mode: up to 1.6 Gbps aggregate per link; sector limits are model-specific | Up to 6.4 Gbps per sector; up to 512 RNs | Service performance depends on radio, configuration, and link conditions |
| Migration consideration | Inventory installed Base Nodes and RNs | Backward-compatible with previous-generation RNs | Confirm RN model, firmware, and the feature set required |
| Procurement evidence | SKU, approved bands, interfaces, power, environment | SKU, band combination, capacity assumptions, regional approval | Mounting, power, cabling, install workflow, and compatibility |
Published capabilities are not simultaneous per-subscriber guarantees. Confirm the exact radio, software release, spectrum authorization, and service mix.

Use Tarana Cloud Suite to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot the network.
The Install App supports radio setup and alignment. Define a standard completion record: device identity, mounting, alignment, link test, and the customer handoff.
TCS provides KPIs, history, and alarms. Agree which events require intervention, who receives them, and which service indicators trigger escalation.
Use roles, configuration discipline, and a staged firmware process. Validate on a pilot cohort before expanding a change to the wider network.

No. The supported remote-node count and the sector’s aggregate capacity describe different limits. Engineer the service mix around busy-hour demand, available carriers, link quality, uplink share, and the headroom your service standard requires.
Tarana describes G2 as backward-compatible with previous-generation Remote Nodes. Confirm the inventory and software combination, and distinguish retained compatibility from the additional multiband capabilities of RNm.
Use representative addresses and documented pass criteria. Include simultaneous load, difficult links, an install workflow, operational alarms, and recovery tests. Retain the configuration and test conditions with the results.
